About the Game

Lift-Off challenges students to think like aerospace engineers and mission directors. Each team researches mission parameters, assembles a spacecraft from limited components, and decides how much risk to accept before committing to launch. Missions can succeed brilliantly or fail spectacularly — and both outcomes teach something. With each round, players refine their decision-making, manage budgets, and race to accumulate the most successful missions before time runs out.
